Post the Second

"Oh! The Places You’ll Go!
You’ll be on your way up!
You’ll be seeing great sights!
You’ll join the high fliers who soar to high heights." -Theodore Geisel
Or are you? Are you on your way up?
Are you just sitting by?
Maybe you're heading down. Who knows? Who knows.
I don't know. Or at least, I don't want you to know I know. Its a ponderment, isn't it?
How do we define place?
It is by land, by country line, by people who live there?
Or do we just feel that one particular bit of matter is in some small (or possibly quite large) way different than another?
Empiricists wouldn't like that, no, not at all.
Are you an empiricist?
Some how I hope you are. I like empiricists, they help me keep the semblance of sanity.
I say semblance because really, who among is really sane except those who only use ration and reasoning alone to make all judgementations.
You may call them heartless, but its not true. It can't be, because they understand the delicate balances of life better than any of the rest of us lowly organisms pretend to.
I hope you are an empiricist. It'd be easier.
I have nothing more to say on the matter, therefore I will now leave you to your own cogitations. Enjoy them. Or don't. I don't really have an opinion either way.
Until we meet again my darlings, dearest souls, and any other wanders whose mind shall meet with mine in time.
